How Long Is Hellraiser: Revival? Campaign & Demo Length
The numbers we have
| What | Length | How sure |
|---|---|---|
| Main campaign | 8 to 12 hours | Developer estimate quoted in pre-launch coverage |
| Steam demo | About 1 hour straight; 1 to 2 hours exploring | Measured: full-demo videos run 54 to 68 minutes; reviewers report 1 to 4 hours |
| Multiplayer | None | Store listings: single player only |
We will replace the estimate with real completion times from launch-week players. Until then, plan for a weekend.
What makes it shorter or longer
- Difficulty: the demo has at least a Hard setting, which one reviewer found punishing (spongy enemies, fragile Aidan). More deaths, more time.
- Exploring: notes, dictaphone recordings and journal collections are tracked in a Journal Collections screen, and searching rooms for ammo and crafting parts adds up.
- Puzzles: the box and Labyrinth puzzles are the wild card. One preview found the looping-house sections “less like a puzzle and more like a simple search for the right item”.
Linear or open?
Linear. Demo players describe it as linear “but not in a way that feels restrictive”, and the developers dodged the question of hidden side paths (“players will have to discover for themselves”). Do not expect an open world or a hub.
Multiple endings?
Searches for “multiple endings” are common, but Saber has not confirmed more than one ending. Treat any “all endings” guide published before launch with suspicion. We will update this after release.
Is it worth $39.99 for 8 to 12 hours?
Demo reviewers repeatedly called the price fair for a AA horror game, especially next to $70 releases. If you want the extra melee weapon and the ’80s filter, the Deluxe is $10 more. Editions compared · early verdict
